About LoTech's Story

LoTech Sales Who we are

Who We Are?

LoTech Sales was founded in 1987. We started by inventing and patenting a reusable plastic pie, cake, and pizza server.

This Super Server was to become the flagship product for LoTech, but that wasn’t the only idea we came up with. Knowing how important name recognition is in the food service industry, we came up with the idea to imprint a company’s name, logo, and phone number on all utensils. This gave our customers inexpensive advertising while at the same time assuring high visibility and recognition.

LoTech’s
Niche Market Strategy

Having a durable quality product and a niche, LoTech Sales was now underway. LoTech developed a good customer base of pizzerias and bakeries for the Super Server. Soon after, LoTech developed a pair of tongs, which opened up their customer base to include caterers, restaurants, and corporate food services.

“I always ask my customers if they would like serving utensils for their drop-off and catering orders. 80% of them say Yes!! Then I charge them for it. I don’t make a lot of profit, but it certainly covers my cost and I get the advertising benefit.”

FAQs

How do I start to order custom imprinted utensils?

We want to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you would like, give us a call at 800-285-0199 and one of our friendly sales staff will walk you through step-by-step.

What is the dimension of the imprint area?

The imprint area is 1/2″ x 1 7/8″

What process do you use for imprinting?

We use a Hot Stamp process. This involves an etched copper die, foil and heat. Utensils are placed in a press one at a time by hand to imprint your logo.

Do I need a die for each utensil?

No, having a standard die size will work for any of our utensils.

How much is the art set up fee?

There is a one-time art set-up fee of $48. This covers the cost of a copper die that we can keep on file for your future orders. There will never be another set-up fee unless you change the information on your die and then, that would require us to purchase another copper die.
